How do I become a photographer

I like to watch Hong Kong movies very much since childhood time especially those directed by Wong Kar-Wai such as "Days of Being Wild" and many others, at that point of time, I wish I can be a Movie director one day. I carry this ambition with me until I met my wife. The precious moments that we shared and those memorable photos that we captured had subsequently changed my life. Although I cannot equate a photo with a fiction story book, it does play a magic when you snap the moment. When you look back, I believe you can still feel the warm, it will just like a memory lane, bring you back to that precious moment. Besides, just like the making of a movie, photography put equal emphasize on the setting and contrast of light, color, design of a photo, I am attracted to photography….

The story of first studio

Initially, I did not think of get to this size, just think my job can help others in capturing their precious moment like birth of a new baby, graduation, or any other new experiences in life, and this include the important life event – getting married. You can see different eye expression in every loving couple and their very own theme story. Wedding photo is not merely a photo, they contain all the story of the loving wedded couple just like a poster of a movie. After many years later, you can still recap the moment. Because of this mission, I set up my first studio.

I named my first studio as NADA, it means sound of holiness from ancient language, and it also carries the meaning that good things will keep coming. AND NADA is my second studio, I add "AND" in front to carry the meaning that good things will keep coming one after another.

The reason of coming to Hong Kong

Frankly speaking, set up AND NADA studio in Hong Kong carries a very special meaning to me. I am always a big fan of Hong Kong movie history until some of the movie shots still deep in my memory. Now I have a chance to set up my first studio in Hong Kong, I am now more excited than the time I set up of my first studio in Korea. Opening of And NADA in Hong Kong
